About Us, Menu.

My name is Kacie, I am Petes step daughter. My husband Ray and I took over Dotson Dutch Oven Catering in 2010 after his passing. I have been helping Pete cook and serve dutch oven food for 18 years, since I was 12 years old. After Pete passed we just couldn't live without Petes dutch oven food and we decided to carry on Petes memory by keeping his dutch oven cooking...... well, cooking. Cooking without Pete just isn't the same but it is our way of remembering his legacy.

Dotson Dutch Oven Catering

Dotson Dutch Oven Catering has been serving southern Utah delicious dutch oven food for 20 years. In the early 1990's Owner Pete Dotson began cooking various dutch oven dishes from BBQ chicken and potatoes to cowboy beans and fruit cobblers. Pete has served parties of ten to 600 people, catering to weddings, work parties, reunions, tour buses, fund raisers, cattle drives and everything in between. By 2010 Pete was well known throughout southern Utah for all his dutch oven dishes as well as his kind, fun and hard working personality.

Unfortunately, in February 2010 Pete suddenly passed away. His death has left a tremendous void with his family, friends and dutch oven clients. Pete will be greatly missed but his dutch oven cooking lives on!
